Specialist training that cultivates effective clinical practice, within the complexities and nuances of the systemic, cultural, social and psychological context that interventions are applied.
Whilst employed at a Non-Government Organisation, I was clinically supervising therapists in an Evidence Based Modality, that was a behavioural based therapeutic intervention, targeting risk factors to child abuse and neglect and incarceration. Working within the intersections of multiple systems (health, community services, education, corrections, court) as they meet human behaviour (trauma) and culture. I learnt much during this time and our work was successful.
I apply the galvanising experience of clinical intervention, supervision and training within my clinical practice, training and workshops and within the teaching I undertake in the Master’s and Bachelor’s of Counselling at the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC).
I am passionate about sharing the gifts of experience, training, knowledge and practice I have obtained in the aspiration of serving humanity and alleviating unnecessary human suffering.
